Team Leader for Activity and Development

In Activity and Development we have big ambitions for our area. We want to develop our offerings, strengthen our professional expertise and create even more coherence across the board. Therefore we are looking for a team leader who, together with the department head, will lead both daily operations and the ongoing development of Activity and Development.

About the job

In Activity and Development we work with rehabilitation, health promotion and respite care according to the Elderly Act in ten open and assessed day centers, seven senior houses and one loneliness-prevention team. With a basis in among others KRAP, almost 40 dedicated employees work purposefully with rehabilitative and health-care-related efforts.

As team leader you will be line manager for about 20 employees and part of a close and trusting leadership collaboration with the head of Activity and Development.

Activity and Development is always in motion. We must continue to be an attractive offer for citizens and at the same time be able to accommodate more citizens with different needs within the existing framework. We continually work to adapt our offerings to citizens’ needs and create solutions that provide value within the limits we have available. We therefore seek a team leader who can both see and work with opportunities and help us hold on to all the good things we do.

About you

We envision that you have an educational or health-professional background. Perhaps you already have leadership experience, or perhaps you are ready to take the step into your first management job.

Salary and employment terms

Salary is determined based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience and your professional and personal qualifications. Interviews

First interview will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2026 and second interview on Wednesday, December 9, 2026

For applicants progressing to the second interview, a personal profile will be prepared, which will include a discussion with a consultant from Viborg Municipality’s HR department on Tuesday, December 8.
