Team Leader for the Contact Center in Southern Jutland

The Agency for Green Area Relocation and Water Environment (SGAV) seeks a team leader with flair for customer service, solid development and operations competencies and exceptionally good leadership and collaboration skills. If you also thrive in a complex, politically governed organization whose purpose is to implement the green tripartite and ensure sustainable food and agricultural production, you may be our new team leader for the Contact Center.

Contact Center consists of 12 employees with broad knowledge of SGAV's areas of responsibility, and is regarded as very well managed both internally and externally. The Contact Center is SGAV's primary entry point for phone calls and emails. The Contact Center handles about 80,000 calls annually and forwards under 50% to the specialist offices. In addition, about 50,000 emails and 10,000 IT defect reports are handled annually.

The Contact Center is currently in a development phase, where the number of calls and emails is increasing, and work is being done both on competence development among employees and new practices regarding solving inquiries efficiently and with a high level of service.

The team is part of a larger newly established staff unit together with the Directorate Secretariat, Communications & Press, and HR. Cooperation in the unit and among the management team is characterized by an informal tone, a genuine interest in each other and a flat management structure.

• You have experience with ongoing optimization of an operations organization – preferably with a special focus on customer service and efficiency

• You thrive with a broad contact surface, where compromises and creative solutions often must be found to make ends meet
• You can handle working in a politically governed organization with a certain degree of flux.

Your main task in the first year will be to expand the responsibility in the Contact Center by approx. 33% more calls and parallel work on solutions that can reduce the number of calls without compromising the high level of service that characterizes the Contact Center.

You will play an important role in a dynamic and competent unit known for delivering at a high professional level, and which has a wide contact surface both inside and outside the ministry. You will have great influence on the continued development of contact center tasks in SGAV.

Employment terms

You will be employed as Chief Consultant with personnel management in accordance with the applicable agreement for academics in the state, and there will be opportunities to negotiate allowances based on qualifications.

The employment area is the Ministry of Nature & Animal Welfare with affiliated institutions and the service location is the Agency for Green Area Relocation and Water Environment, Augustenborg Slot 3, 6440 Augustenborg.

The position is permanent and to be filled as soon as possible.
