Technical Service Assistant for Assistive Devices & Communication - Six-Month Temporary Position

About us

The Assistive Devices Depot is part of Assistive Devices & Communication. In Assistive Devices and Communication there are approximately 40 employees, of which 9 are employed in the depot. Assistive Devices and Communication deals with granting all types of assistive devices to citizens who have a functional impairment. The tasks in the depot consist of delivering, collecting, cleaning and repairing assistive devices in close contact with citizens and case-handling therapists.

You will experience that citizens' needs are the driving force behind all efforts in Fredericia Municipality and that there is a strong focus on multidisciplinary collaboration. You will also experience that there are good opportunities for employee influence and competence development as needed.

Physically you will be located at Fredericia Health House, Dronningensgade 97, 7000 Fredericia.

Your responsibilities will include

• Delivery and collection of assistive devices from citizens
• Minor repairs of assistive devices at the depot and in the citizen's own home
• Contact with citizens in connection with delivery and citizens who come to the depot themselves
• Washing of assistive devices.
• Various incidental depot tasks.

We expect that you

• are keen to collaborate with elderly citizens and citizens who have a handicap
• can work independently and in a structured manner and are flexible regarding tasks and changes
• have good physical health capable of performing physically demanding work
• have basic IT knowledge and abilities/willingness to work with IT
• have a driver's license
• have a good mood, are friendly and approachable
• knowledge of KMD Nexus Health Logistics is an advantage.

The position is a temporary appointment from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. The number of hours is 37 hours/week
