About the job

Would you like to help with children's well-being and learning in a municipality that places high value on cross-disciplinary collaboration and early interventions? Then you might be our new psychologist in PPR in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality.

Contents of the position

You will be part of a stable and well-functioning group of psychologists with 26 engaged and kind colleagues. We have both highly experienced colleagues who have worked in PPR for many years, and newer colleagues who have joined in recent years. In addition, you will have a number of PPR colleagues in the form of speech therapists, multilingual consultants, special education teachers, consultants in special educational needs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, as well as intake coordinators.

We are based in our shared PPR house, located in Lundtofte. In PPR Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality we work based on a collaboration model that ensures regular meetings between the various professional areas surrounding the children. We have implemented the legally mandated easily accessible municipal treatment offer — with us called the Easily Accessible Offer (LTT) — and it is anchored in PPR.

This means that the treatment work and the pedagogical-psychological work take place side by side, and that you as a psychologist in PPR have the opportunity to work with both parts side by side.

The tasks in this position will be on the school area, both in general and in the special school area. In addition, there will be the possibility to become part of treatment tasks in the easily accessible treatment offer, if it matches your profile.

The tasks will include, among other things

  • Advice and sparring to educational staff, teacher teams and school leadership.
  • Advice and guidance to parents.
  • Preparation of educational psychological assessments and including relevant examination work and testing.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with other PPR colleagues.
  • Planning and execution of interventions/actions in schools.
  • Conferences with teams in the special school area.

We want our new colleague to be able to say yes to the following

  • Qualified psychologist (cand.psych. or cand.pæd.psych.) – this is a prerequisite for being able to carry out the tasks the position contains.
  • Preferably with a practice education.
  • Preferably experience from PPR.
  • Preferably experience with the Easily Accessible Treatment Offer/STIME.
  • Strong in developmental psychology, educational psychology and organizational psychology.
  • Enjoys planning their own workday based on the tasks prioritized in collaboration with school leaders.
  • Well-established and clearly child-centered perspective.

We offer you

  • An position with good opportunities for professional development, where we prioritise supporting you in your professional interests and competences.
  • Nice and fun colleagues who value each other both professionally and socially.
  • A mentoring scheme and the possibility to solve tasks together with psychologist colleagues and other cross-disciplinary colleagues.
  • Regular supervision.
  • A workday with varied tasks and the possibility to organise your own day.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Preparation time for new psychologists – to acquire knowledge and experience in the PPR area.

We place great emphasis on helping new colleagues settle in well, and we value accessible, presence-based leadership with solid knowledge of our professional field.

We hope to have aroused your curiosity and interest. If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to contact TR Line Munch Wahlstedt at telephone 2362 6550 or email [email protected]. Or the team leader for the psychologists in the school area, Jonathan Holm-Skjold Roed at telephone 9117 0056 or email [email protected].

Practical

This is a temporary position in a full-time role with immediate start. The temporary position has been created due to temporary absence in the psychology group and runs until the end of June 2027 with the possibility of extension.

You will be employed according to the applicable collective agreement. Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility for negotiating a supplementary pay.

Workplace: PPR-Huset, Lundtofte Skolestræde 6, 2800 Kgs. Lyngby, as well as at the schools in the municipality. Since the tasks take place across several sites, it is necessary that you have the possibility to travel with your own car or bicycle.

We process applications and hold interviews on an ongoing basis, so please send your application as soon as possible. The application deadline is 30 October 2026.

We obtain child protection checks and criminal records prior to employment.
