About the job

Are you a trained social and health care assistant, educator, nurse or occupational therapist and would you like to be part of a professionally skilled team with 8 colleagues with different professional educations, where interdisciplinarity and warmth go hand in hand, then you might be the contact person we are looking for?

At Parkvænget we believe that personal and social recovery is possible, through meaningful participation in everyday life on one’s own terms. We offer a wide range of recovery-supporting activities and meaningful employment, so that people’s well-being, coping and development are placed at the center.

We are looking for a contact person for 37 hours per week, with rotating day and evening shifts and work every third weekend. At Parkvænget there is flexibility and influence on your working hours, so you get a good balance between work and leisure.

Parkvænget is a long-term §108 and temporary §107 social psychiatric residential facility in Glostrup. Here we create a safe home for 58 adults with mental health challenges. We work from a rehabilitative approach with focus on the individual’s dreams and goals – here we look at people’s resources rather than limitations. We have 70 permanent staff and 4 leaders, who form part of a leadership team with the manager. As a contact person you report to the department head and the unit’s professional coordinator.

Your nearest colleagues are the staff on your unit – but you should expect all 9 teams work closely around the core task. Therefore you are regarded as employed at Parkvænget and it is expected that you can work on all 4 units, and primarily be attached to a unit with contact residents.

You are responsible for participating in status meetings with the residents. You support and guide the residents to live in accordance with their own values, including you have knowledge of recovery-oriented interventions, based on CHIME factors. You actively participate in Parkvænget’s group programmes with residents and offer weekly conversations with contact residents.

You are therefore responsible for the following as a contact person

Documentation of residents’ goal attainment and sub-goals

Documentation of health and social care services and interventions

Housing support including ADL training and practical help

Support for mastery of social skills

What can we offer you?

A residential facility focused on supporting citizens to recover and achieve better quality of life and better functioning

An ambitious workplace with continuous focus on professional development for you and your colleagues

A supportive leader who listens and helps you manage complex everyday issues

Continuous offering of external supervision focusing on collaboration and task resolution

Delicious lunch arrangement

Who are you?

You want to work with people with special needs and have a heart for Parkvænget’s citizens

You preferably have relevant experience from psychiatry or related fields

You are educated as a pedagogue, social and health care assistant, nurse or occupational therapist

You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team with professional discussions and also easily engage in different types of formal and informal collaboration
