About us

The Substance Abuse Team offers counselling and treatment to residents aged 15 and over who wish to stop or reduce their consumption of alcohol and/or drugs. We also provide support to relatives.

We are a small and strong team, which together with nurses, a medical consultant and other partners works multidisciplinary to create the best solutions for the citizens.

About the position

We are looking for a colleague with treatment competencies who thrives in a dynamic daily life where you will have conversation pathways and take on a broad range of tasks, such as assessment, coordination, referrals to other interventions and knowledge sharing.

We imagine that you have several of the following competencies

• Are outgoing and meet others with warmth and an open mind
• Have experience with conversation processes, motivational interviewing and/or cognitive treatment
• Are proactive and can navigate multidisciplinary collaboration
• Are keen on and have a flair for administrative tasks such as action plans, descriptions and journaling
• Have knowledge of the professional system Nexus

Your primary tasks

• Clarify and map the citizen's treatment needs
• Motivation and treatment work individually and in groups – for both youths and adults
• Advice and guidance to relatives and collaboration partners
• Coordination of multidisciplinary pathways
• Documentation of case processes

The Substance Abuse Team is organizationally anchored in the Employment Department under Business Service and Initiatives. We are based in Grindsted and share premises with Local Psychiatry.

Salary and employment

The position is 37 hours per week. Fewer hours are also possible; if so, please mention it in the application.

Start date: 01.12.26. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
