About us

The Substance Abuse Team offers counseling and treatment to residents over 15 who wish to stop or reduce their use of alcohol and/or drugs. We also provide support to relatives.

We are a small and strong team, who together with nurses, medical consultant and other partners work multidisciplinary to create the best solutions for the citizens.

About the position

We are looking for a colleague with treatment-related competencies, who thrives in a dynamic everyday life, where you will both have counseling sessions and handle a wide range of tasks, such as assessment, coordination, referral to other interventions and knowledge sharing.

We expect that you have several of the following competencies

• Is outgoing and meets others with warmth and an open mind
• Has experience with counseling, motivational interviewing and/or cognitive treatment
• Is proactive and can navigate interdisciplinary collaboration
• Has interest in and flair for administrative tasks such as action plans, descriptions and documentation
• Has knowledge of the professional system Nexus

Your primary work tasks

• Clarify and assess the citizen's treatment needs
• Motivation and treatment work individually and in groups – for both young people and adults
• Advice and guidance for relatives and partners
• Coordination of multidisciplinary pathways
• Documentation of case progress

The Substance Abuse Team is organizationally anchored in the Employment and Labour Market Department under Business Service and Initiatives. We are based in Grindsted and share premises with Local Psychiatry.

Salary and employment

The position is 37 hours per week. Fewer hours are also possible; if so, please mention this in your application.

Start date: 01.12.26. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
