Two HR development consultants for competence development and recruitment

We are seeking two new HR generalists to our HR team. Both positions span the HR field, but with different professional emphases. One position particularly focuses on competency development and learning, while the other focuses on recruitment, employer branding and onboarding.

About the job

As an HR development consultant you will play a central role in supporting the organization’s leaders and employees. You will work both strategically, development-focused and operationally and will be responsible for driving initiatives from idea to implementation.

Your tasks may include

• Recruitment and onboarding
• Competence development and learning initiatives
• Design and implementation of development initiatives
• Facilitation of workshops, teaching and development activities
• Development and improvement of HR processes and concepts
• Project management of development initiatives
• HR analyses, measurements and follow-up on initiatives
• Ongoing HR operations tasks that support the team’s overall task solving and development initiatives

Two positions with different professional emphases

HR development consultant with focus on competency development and learning

Competence development will be your primary area of responsibility. You will among other things work with identifying development needs, developing learning and development programs, supporting leaders in the work with employee development and further developing our processes for MUS and LUS.

At the same time you will actively participate in the team’s work with recruitment, onboarding and other HR development tasks.

HR development consultant with focus on recruitment, onboarding and attraction

Recruitment will be your primary area of responsibility. You will among other things work with recruitment processes, advising leaders, development of methods and tools, attracting candidates, employer branding and onboarding.

At the same time you will actively participate in the team’s work with competency development, learning initiatives and other HR development tasks.

About you

To be considered for the position, it is a prerequisite that you

• Have a relevant advanced education in HR, organization, learning or similar.
• Have experience from an HR function where you have worked with HR development, recruitment or organizational development.
• Have experience with driving development projects or cross-functional processes.
• Have experience with analytical work, measurements, evaluations or data-based HR initiatives.
• Have strong written communication skills and can translate complex issues into clear notes, presentations, job advertisements and other HR-related products.
• Have experience advising leaders and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
• Have a structured and systematic approach to tasks and be able to create an overview, prioritize effectively and ensure progress and quality in both development and operations tasks.

Experience from a politically led organization or a larger public workplace will be an advantage.

For the position with focus on competency development and learning we particularly emphasize that you:

• Have experience with competency development, learning initiatives or organizational development programs.
• Can identify development needs and translate them into concrete learning and development activities.
• Have experience with MUS, LUS or other development and talent processes.
• Are a strong communicator who can facilitate meetings, workshops or learning activities.
• Can translate organizational needs into concrete HR initiatives that support the development of leaders, employees and the organization.

For the position with focus on recruitment, onboarding and attraction we particularly emphasize that you:

• Have experience with recruitment processes from needs assessment to hiring.
• Have experience advising leaders on recruitment and candidate assessment.
• Have worked with onboarding, employer branding or candidate attraction.
• Can translate organizational needs into solutions that support attraction, selection and retention of employees.
• Can develop and improve processes, tools and methods within recruitment and onboarding.

About us

In the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s HR unit you will become part of a dedicated community of 22 employees spread across three teams. Your new workplace is in the Strategy and Development Team, where five experienced and professionally strong colleagues look forward to welcoming you.

We work closely with leaders and employees across the organization and contribute to both strategic and operations-focused HR tasks. Employment terms

Employment is governed by the current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of AC organizations.

The position is a full-time role as an administrative officer with an average of 37 hours per week. Depending on your experience and qualifications there is a possibility for appointment as a senior consultant.

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has, as a result of the 2026 departmental reorganization, become part of the Ministry of Industry. It is expected that the HR function will eventually be integrated with the Ministry of Industry’s Corporate HR. The timing of any merger is not yet fixed but is expected to be clarified during 2027.

A possible merger could entail organizational attachment to Corporate HR and a changed workplace to Valby. Until then the workplace will be in Glostrup.
