Education Manager for the Nursing Education and the Social and Health Care Assistant Education, Hospital Unit Midt.

Are you passionate about developing the clinical learning environment for nursing students and social- and health care assistant students?

We are seeking two education managers in a maternity leave vacancy at Hospital Unit Midt with start in December 2026. The temporary positions are expected to run until March 2028.

About the position and your tasks

As an education manager at Hospital Unit Midt, you will be responsible for coordinating educational programs for nursing students and social- and health care assistant students and supporting their learning in close collaboration with mentors/supervisors and leaders across the hospital.

A very important task is to ensure high quality in the clinical placements for nursing students and social- and health care assistant students.

You will facilitate networks for supervisors, collaborate with educational institutions and actively participate in pedagogical and organizational development projects.

Your profile

We are primarily looking for a staff member with a health professional bachelor's degree, clinical experience, and preferably an academic postgraduate degree at either master’s or candidate level. If you have a degree in pedagogy and didactics and knowledge of clinical education, you can also be considered.

As a person you are structured and can handle varied task types with changing deadlines. You thrive in collaboration across professional groups and organizational levels, and you can establish strong relationships in many different contexts. Your communication is clear and approachable, and you have good digital competences which you actively use in your work.

You can make decisions that balance individual wishes and the organization’s needs, and you navigate confidently in a complex hospital context. You are development-oriented and see opportunities to integrate new technology into the educational programs.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the area.
