Development consultant with political acumen and a solid grasp of fundraising

Would you like to help develop the culture, leisure and volunteering sector in Sorø Municipality? Do you have an eye for community development, a desire to work closely with the political level and the ability to translate good ideas into projects with external funding?

Then we have a position in the Center for Culture, Leisure and Volunteering, where you will have ample opportunity to influence the development of the area.

You will work at the intersection of political support, strategic development and fundraising.

Your two primary areas of responsibility are

• Support policy making in the municipality through the preparation of decision briefs and sparring with the center manager on the best advisory support for the political level.
• Develop projects with external funding that strengthen the culture, leisure and volunteering sector in Sorø Municipality

For both areas, you will spend a lot of time analyzing new areas, seeing the opportunities in them and converting them into development initiatives or solutions.

You will also help find the balance between the two areas in consultation with the center manager, but we have set the following two success criteria for the position:

• Strengthened political decision-making power through strategic advice and professionally strong decision briefs
• More and stronger development projects realized through strategic grant work and partnerships.
