Are you active in the Church of Denmark or a church organization, and are you curious how your experience can be put to use in a new way?

At ChurchDesk we are looking for a person who understands the life of the church and is passionate about developing it. We are seeking a church consultant who is ready to switch tracks in their career and play a central role in our mission to strengthen the church through digital tools, both by helping new churches get started and by being a close partner for the churches that already use ChurchDesk within cemetery management and accounting.

Is that you?

You are employed or a volunteer in the church or in a church organization. Regardless of your background, you have an important understanding of how the church's everyday life fits together, and how the church remains relevant to the local community. Perhaps you especially know the work on the cemetery or with the church's finances and accounting.

You do not see yourself in a classic sales role, but you are motivated by talking to churches about how digital tools can ease their daily life, whether it is a new church that needs to get started, or an existing customer who should get more out of ChurchDesk.

Your role: Advice, prospecting, and client care

As a church consultant you are responsible for opening doors to new churches and deaneries and/or for advising and developing our existing customers in the cemetery and accounting area. The focus in the role will be aligned with your experience and strengths.

New customers

• Reach out and lead the dialogue: You are motivated to talk to new people and are curious to get to know them better, from everyday workflows to visions for the future.
• Drive the process to completion: You closely follow the dialogue from the first contact until the parish is ready to enter into a collaboration with ChurchDesk.
• Make it relevant: You present ChurchDesk to parish councils and employees and use your insight into their daily life to make our digital tools relatable and meaningful.

Existing customers in cemetery and accounting

• Be a steady point of contact: You are the one churches call when they have questions about cemetery administration or accounting in ChurchDesk.
• Advise and create value: You help churches get the most out of the solutions, propose better workflows and spot where more features can make a difference.
• Build long-term relationships: You use your understanding of church dynamics to build trustful relationships and ensure churches remain happy with the collaboration with ChurchDesk.

Job requirements

• A foundation in the church: You have solid experience from the Church of Denmark and understand the interaction between staff, councils and volunteers.
• Professional insight: You preferably have experience with cemetery administration and/or church finance and accounting. It is a big advantage, but not a requirement if your focus is on new customers.
• Desire to grow and learn: You look forward to a new challenge where you can make a real difference for churches and at the same time develop your own competences.
• Outgoing and relationship-based: You are positive about change and motivated by talking to people about a digital platform you believe in.
• Autonomy and drive: You work in a structured way and naturally take ownership of your tasks and results.
• Strong communicator: You communicate clearly and effectively, speak and write fluent Danish and have good knowledge of English.
