About the job

Center for Health has – as part of the Health and Care Administration – the strategic responsibility for the development of the close, coherent and sustainable health system in the City of Copenhagen. We have an ambition to influence the development of the municipal health system and create greater coherence, quality and sustainability in the citizen-facing health services

The Rehabilitation Department is part of the Center for Health and has the responsibility to develop and support health initiatives at the administration's rehabilitation centers and temporary placements as well as at Neurorehabilitation Copenhagen.

We are in the midst of a significant development of the health and rehabilitation sector. The health reform changes the distribution of tasks and responsibilities between municipality and region, while Copenhagen Municipality continues to solve a number of health tasks as a service operator. At the same time we work with, among other things, the Elderly Act, rehabilitation in holistic care, temporary placements, data support and new technological solutions.

The department consists of 15 dedicated employees who work closely with operating units, management, other departments in the central administration and external partners.

About the job

We are looking for a health-professional consultant who wants to help develop health initiatives with a special focus on technology and data.

You will play a central role in supporting the development of municipal health initiatives and in translating new opportunities within technology and data into solutions that make sense in practice. You will, among other things, work with rehabilitation, holistic care, temporary placements and other rehabilitation initiatives.

Your work will span a broad range. You must be able to identify relevant technological and digital possibilities, work with data and analyses and contribute to developing workflows and solutions that support quality, cohesion and sustainable operations.

Among other things, you will work on developing and implementing technology- and data-driven solutions, supporting the use of data in leadership and operations, as well as preparing analyses, decision briefs, notes and presentations for management and political levels. You will also work with Excel, BI solutions and other data sources and contribute to capacity monitoring and development work.

An important part of the job will be to act as the link between the operating units where the citizen-facing task is performed, management, the rest of the administration, suppliers and the political level. You must be able to understand different needs and perspectives and translate them into solutions that are both professionally relevant and workable in a municipal everyday life.

You will also have the opportunity to work with supplier collaboration and tasks related to agreements, contracts and specification requirements as well as project-, process- and development tasks across the department and the administration.

About you

We imagine that you have a relevant health-related background, preferably complemented by an academic postgraduate degree or other relevant further education. You have at least four years of experience as a consultant, development consultant or project manager, preferably from a municipality, region or another politically governed organization.

We expect you to have an interest in health, rehabilitation and rehabilitation and in how technology and data can support the development of the local health services. You have good data understanding and work safely and systematically with, among other things, Excel and preferably BI solutions.

You have a good analytical eye and can translate data and complex problems into clear analyses, decision bases and recommendations. At the same time, you recognize that good solutions are not only about data and technology, but also about expertise, organization, economy, workflows and the people who will use the solutions in practice.

Since you will act as the liaison between many different stakeholders, it is important that you are good at building relationships and can navigate confidently in different professional and managerial spaces. You have political flair and an understanding of working in a politically governed organization and can communicate clearly and precisely – both orally and in writing.

And we also emphasize that you are responsible, independent and good at planning, prioritizing and completing your tasks. You must be able to maintain an overview, even when agendas change, while also being able to reach out to colleagues when needed.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. We will obtain references prior to employment.

The position is 37 hours per week with expected commencement on January 1, 2027.
