Warm, cozy, positive and embracing house assistant sought for FYRET

When we imagine a house assistant for us, we see a smiling, positive and caring person who meets our young people with warmth and security. Someone who helps create coziness and a home-like atmosphere around the kitchen and the food, and who at the same time understands the value of calm and predictability.

We therefore seek a house assistant who would like to help create a cozy, calm and homely everyday life at FYRET.

We imagine a person who thrives with structure, stability and a calm workday, and who can work independently within the framework and agreements that are in place.

We emphasize that you

• Is reliable, stable, structured and has a handle on things.
• Is warm, positive and welcoming in your manner.
• Has high ethics and respect for the young people's difficulties.
• Is calm and not very talkative – you should be able to be present without filling the space unnecessarily.
• Can work independently and follow agreed boundaries.
• Has pedagogical insight and preferably knowledge of autism. However, this is not a position with pedagogical tasks.

Your primary tasks will be

• To design an autism-friendly menu with respect to the young people's individual needs and preferences. You will naturally receive instruction in what we mean by an autism-friendly menu.
• To handle purchasing of groceries.
• To prepare and cook the food so that the educators can later reheat and serve it.
• To bake rolls and cake and set the table in connection with meetings.
• To keep order and structure in the kitchen, in the storage area and in the laundry room.
• To carry out light cleaning in common areas.

We envisage a working time of approximately 20-25 hours per week.
