At the Service Department at Randers Regional Hospital there is a vacant position as a service assistant in Blood Samples and Biochemistry to be filled by 1 Dec 2026 or by agreement.

Employment form: 37 hours per week

Working hours: Weekdays in the time period 6:00 – 13:30

Public holidays may occur.

The job in Blood Samples and Biochemistry

There are three service assistants attached to Blood Samples and Biochemistry and they rotate within a three-week rolling schedule across the various tasks. This provides a varied job with high demands for independence, overview and responsibility. The work consists of performing cleaning tasks in the Blood Samples and Biochemistry premises, but the job is also linked to a wide range of service tasks in close cooperation with the bioanalysts as well as goods and inventory handling.

The Service Department is tasked with organizing and performing the hospital's service tasks and thus helping to support the good patient pathway.

We focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and that we all actively contribute to a good working environment and a proper and positive tone of communication.

Personal qualifications

• The Service Department places emphasis on hiring employees who are flexible, service-minded, have good collaboration skills and who understand to see opportunities rather than limitations. You must have situational awareness and be able to interact with many people in a busy daily life.
• It is assumed that the applicant has completed – or upon permanent employment – is interested in taking the hospital service assistant training.
• IT skills at user level are expected.
