Ventilation engineer in ventilation and indoor climate

Are you strong in ventilation design, sizing and indoor climate?

Would you like to work with ventilation and indoor climate in practice – from design choices and simulations to project development, coordination and handover? As a ventilation engineer at Lyngkilde you will have a central role in developing solutions where air quality, thermal comfort, energy consumption and constructible solutions must come together in a higher unity.

At Lyngkilde we work cross-disciplinary with construction, installations, indoor climate and energy in close collaboration with clients, architects and other consultants. You will be part of a flat organization with short decision paths and real opportunity to shape the solutions in the projects.

About the position

We are seeking a ventilation engineer with solid experience in design of ventilation systems and indoor climate assessments. You will be responsible for developing solutions in both new-build and renovation – including sizing, calculation of air volumes, thermal comfort and air quality as well as coordination with other technical disciplines. You will also work with simulations, project material and dialogue with clients and partners to ensure solutions that are technically robust, energy-efficient and constructible.

We envision that you

• Have 5–10 years of experience with design and sizing of ventilation
• Are an engineer, mechanical engineer or equivalent – preferably with experience from the consultancy or ventilation industry
• Have experience with indoor climate and preferably simulations
• Understand the interplay between ventilation, energy and architecture
• Work independently and thrive in cross-disciplinary collaboration
