About the job

Would you like to be part of a workplace where fundamental nursing is highly valued and where we contribute to the education of upcoming nursing colleagues? Do you want experienced colleagues who are helpful and value collaboration? Are you good at communication, relational coordination, advising and guiding at a high professional level, and are you strong at cross-disciplinary cooperation? Then this might be you we are looking for!

The municipal visiting nurses are organized in mono-disciplinary teams under nursing professional leadership in the department of Health Preparedness and Treatment, which consists of visiting nursing and, until 1 January 2027, also acute nursing and temporary placements. The visiting nurses work daily across professionals with the other units under the area Adult Welfare, which includes home care and social support, training and prevention, including rehabilitation therapists as well as nursing homes and residential facilities.

The municipal nursing consists of 34 visiting nurses distributed in three teams with travel from Søndersø, Bogense and Otterup. Evening and night shifts operate from Søndersø, just as daytime shifts on weekends all operate from here. The nurse we are seeking will be based in the Søndersø team.

Our main tasks are characterized by

  • a high degree of coordination in connection with admission and discharge of citizens
  • care pathway coordination of unstable and complex citizen journeys
  • advising, guiding and teaching colleagues, students, pupils and citizens and relatives
  • prevention of hospital admissions for citizens through assessment and treatment
  • reassuring interventions for citizens and relatives as well as your colleagues
  • palliative, steady-state and acute pathways
  • clinical nursing tasks such as wound and compression treatment, medication management including IV treatment, peritoneal dialysis, parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy pumps, chest drainage, etc.

As a clinical supervisor you will have the opportunity for professional fellowship with the other clinical supervisors in Nordfyns Municipality. You will be involved in planning and carrying out PBL with the students across Adult Welfare. You will participate in an interdisciplinary collaboration with the training supervisors and the area manager responsible for education.

You are guaranteed an exciting and varied daily life in working with the students as well as the citizens' often complex disease picture. You will be responsible for clinical supervision and examinations of students at the 4th and 6th semester.

In addition

  • you will have broad scope and responsibility in your task solving, which also includes specialized clinical nursing tasks
  • you will be part of an exciting development effort with digital solutions in everyday life, including digital early detection and robot solutions for medication administration
  • you will be part of an organization that places great emphasis on a patient-safety culture and openness about errors
  • you will have significant influence on planning your own work in collaboration with colleagues and managers
  • you will be part of an organization where there is an opportunity to try something new, strengthen your professionalism and your competencies through professional courses and further education
  • three days of a common induction program with other new employees in adult welfare are prioritized in addition to an individual introduction and training into the tasks and organization, linked to a mentor
  • you will have the opportunity for monthly nursing meetings, citizen-focused meetings and individual follow-up conversations

What we value

  • very high emphasis on interdisciplinarity, as we all have different personal and professional competencies to contribute with, and we believe we can learn a lot from each other
  • working on a value-based foundation, with integrity in what we do. We place high value on respect and loyalty among colleagues, management and citizens/relatives

All the practicalities

We need a nurse who has a clinical supervisor education or wishes to pursue the training. The position is 32-37 hours with weekend shifts every 4th weekend starting 1 December 2026.

Shifts will as a rule be day shifts, but there may be a need for a few fixed evening or night shifts scheduled over a 16-week cycle.

It is necessary that you have a driving license.

Questions about the collective agreement or preliminary agreement can be directed to TR Maja Christiansen at tel. 21 58 08 93.

Local agreements have been drawn up for work in evening and night shifts.

Expected salary range will be stated at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and prior work experience and after specific negotiations with the professional organization.

Employment is conditional on a approved criminal record check.

Further information about the position can be obtained from area manager Karina Arndal at tel. 21 83 16 97 or from the head of Health Preparedness and Treatment, Carsten Andreasen at tel. 21 83 16 99.

We look forward to receiving your application attached with relevant documents no later than Monday 19 October 2026.

Job interviews are expected to be conducted on 23 October 2026, and we expect that you can take up the position on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

We look forward to meeting you.
