About the job

You now have the opportunity to become part of a department with high professionalism and a strong sense of community in development.

We are seeking a medical secretary / health administrative coordinator, who will have a central role in our outpatient clinic, which has a high patient flow and a well-functioning cross-disciplinary collaboration. You will be organizationally anchored in the Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic, but we expect you to be flexible regarding coverage of our other departments – you will among other things become the primary replacement in our Diagnostic Unit which handles accelerated cancer pathway processes.

The entire healthcare system is in a time of change with the merger into Region East and the new health reform. Therefore we seek a colleague who is curious about development and eager to actively contribute to shaping future workflows and creating value for patients, partners and the department as a whole.

Who are we?

We are a secretary group consisting of 7 professionally experienced, skilled and engaged secretaries, who work closely with the department's other professional groups.

We help and cover for each other across departments during holidays and illness, and you will therefore receive a thorough introduction to the tasks across the whole department.

In addition to the 7 permanent secretaries, we contribute to training health administrative coordinators, and typically have several students during the year – this task is shared, but with a fixed supervisor in the department.

We offer you

  • An exciting, independent and development-oriented job
  • Committed and helpful colleagues, where good collaboration across disciplines is highly prioritized
  • A versatile secretary role – with a good mix of telephone handling, patient contact, and various back-office tasks
  • Exciting registration tasks including compliance with diagnostic rights and cancer pathway processes
  • A department with an environment characterized by a high professional pride
  • Structured and well-planned workflows
  • Focus on psychological safety and a positive work environment with humor, helpfulness and room to ask questions – also when it is busy
  • A workplace that is rapidly developing towards the Future Outpatient Clinic and digitization of workflows
  • Opportunity for ongoing skill development

Your qualifications and competences

We are looking for a new colleague who is trained as a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator. You have experience working with the Health Platform and other IT tools used in the healthcare system.

In addition we expect that you

  • Are adaptable, flexible and place high value on professionalism and take shared responsibility
  • Have a flair for coordination, prioritization and structure – even in a busy everyday life
  • Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, but still maintain a good tone
  • Contributes positively to the community – with us we pull together as a team
  • Handle our patients and relatives in a professional manner, ensuring them a good experience with us
  • Innovative and interested in contributing to the development of the secretariat while you thrive with routine tasks
  • Are trained as a SAK supervisor or wish to undertake the training as a supervisor
