We are looking for a writer who can help us develop and deliver quality content for our Swedish news media, Dagens.se. In the role you will have the opportunity to work with web journalism at a high tempo, where your ability to spot relevant stories and create engaging content makes a difference.

As a writer you produce quote stories, where based on other media articles and news you find your own angle on a story. That means that, as a rule, you will not engage in outreach journalism.

We are looking for a writer who can work full-time during daytime hours. With us you get freedom under responsibility and flexible terms, so you can start at 8-16, 7-15 or similar, as long as it matches the team's needs and your tasks.

Your main tasks will include

• To write and develop articles for Dagens.se
• To use AI as an active tool in your production of news
• To spot trends and tendencies and translate them into engaging content
• To participate in editorial meetings, where we together become wiser on how to ensure the best possible content

You will become part of Team Utland, which helps and supports each other daily. To ensure the best possible start you will receive an onboarding plan before your first day, and you will be assigned a buddy who is ready to support you from the start.

We expect that you at minimum have a secondary education. It is an advantage if you have a higher education in communication, e.g. cand.mag., journalist or communicator, so you are used to writing and working with targeted communication, but it is not a requirement.

The most important thing is that you have an interest in the Swedish language and are good at formulating yourself, so you have a sense of when a headline hits the mark, and when it does not.

• Can speak and understand Danish and Swedish, so you can write articles and proofread in Swedish and spar with your colleagues in Danish
• Have a broad interest in Swedish news, as you will come into contact with many different topics during a week
• Have a focused work style, where you are good at executing and taking ownership of your tasks
• Have an easy-going smile and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the team
• Are good at spotting patterns, connections and trends

The salary is set according to qualifications and experience within a framework of 24,000-27,000 DKK per month.
