Blomsterdalens Team Tre

Blomsterdalen is a large nursing home, divided into four teams, and we are looking for a nurse for Team Three. Team three consists of 27 residents divided into three specialties: a dementia unit, a specialty unit for residents with active substance abuse, and a general somatic unit that will, in time, be developed to accommodate a specialized unit. This means that we have a daily life with a broad nursing field and meet people with very different needs. Our tasks actually range from dispensing and wound care to cross-disciplinary reflection and social-pedagogical efforts.

Our nursing group currently consists of three nurses, each attached to a fixed cross-disciplinary team consisting of care assistants, SSHs, unskilled workers and therapists. On weekends, when the nurses work every fourth, the whole house is covered for acute tasks. The introduction of fixed cross-disciplinary teams is relatively new, and therefore we are looking for a nurse who wants to help develop this collaboration. Right now we are for example working with using triage as a fixed working tool, and it is such initiatives you will be involved in implementing.

Who is the person behind the nurse?

Your professional skill is of course important, but we equally want to know who you are as a person. For us, the right match is not only about seniority but also about personality and chemistry.

Do you have drive and can you put the big plate on the scale when necessary? That is something you must be able to do with us, because you will be working with an experienced staff group, so you should feel confident in your professional skills and contribute with new perspectives.

Are you creative and good at collaborating broadly? Then you would also fit in well, because you will collaborate from weekly sparring with your immediate supervisor to the relatives, who are often an active part of the residents' daily life. In addition, you will become a central part of your cross-disciplinary team, where we pull together and work closely to create safe and meaningful everyday life for the citizens.

Do you meet other people with humor and respect? Then you could probably be our new colleague, because we are always curious about the citizen's perspective and we value an informal tone and a good laugh.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the current collective agreement between KL and the representative organization. The expected salary level will be stated before any interview and depends on experience and qualifications
