About the job

Youth House seeks an employee who, through IPS and More Young People Should Be Included can support young people towards work and education in close collaboration with businesses, psychiatry and civil society.

Are you passionate about working with young people who have complex issues – and can you build relationships that make a real difference?

Do you want to work very closely with the young people in guided, hands-on programs and support them in finding their path to education and employment? Then you might be our new colleague at the Youth House!

As part of the Ungeløftet agreement – more young people in work and committed communities, funds have been allocated until 2028 to expand initiatives that strengthen the efforts for Individually Planned Jobs with Support (IPS) and More Young People Should Be Included.

As part of Ungeløftet, you will be a central part of the existing effort, where we through outreach work, partnerships with companies and collaboration with civil society create concrete opportunities for the young people in Brøndby Municipality. You will be an important part of a team that every day works to bring young people closer to education, employment and a meaningful everyday life.

The position is anchored in the Youth House, which is part of the municipality's employment center. The Youth House works closely with KUI/education guidance, Disability, psychiatry and addiction as well as the Children’s Administration. In addition, we work closely with relevant actors around the young people outside the Municipality, such as the young person’s private network, psychiatry and the young person’s own doctor.

The position is a project position until the end of 2028.

Your tasks

  • Support young people in work and education through the IPS method and More Young People Should Be Included, through a holistic and guided approach
  • Take responsibility for your own programs and provide close, individually tailored support to the young people
  • Enter into partnerships with companies, psychiatry, educational institutions, civil society actors and other relevant parties around the young people
  • Maintain relationships with companies with a view to paid hours, jobs and educational opportunities
  • Recognize and highlight the young people’s resources and potential – and believe in their possibilities for development and change
  • Prepare written follow-ups, documentation and progression reports
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration and a positive working environment where youth initiatives are developed collectively

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a relevant professional education and experience with the employment field, young people with complex issues or business consultancy
  • Has experience with and is passionate about helping young people create change
  • Is good at building trust and relationships – both with young people and partners
  • Has knowledge of the IPS method – or a desire to learn it
  • Is energized by contact with companies and follow-up
  • Can work systematically based on concrete methods, including IPS and More Young People Should Be Included, and document progression for the young people
  • Is results-oriented with regard to the concrete goals of Ungeløftet to get the young people into education or work, and will deliver an effective and targeted effort for this
  • Wants to be part of a developing department

We offer

  • A meaningful job where you help make a difference for young people every day
  • An organization with high professional standards, dedicated colleagues and great opportunity to leave your mark
  • A Youth House in development where we think innovatively and work across teams
  • Opportunities for professional development and influence on an important effort
  • An evolving organization with room for new ideas
