The new position

With us you get a permanent position in our Children and Young People team and a daily life in close collaboration with children and youths in vulnerable positions and their parents. Together with your colleagues you handle assessments, investigations, preventive interventions, follow-up and guidance. We carry out the tasks in collaboration with the generalist area and a wide range of internal and external partners. With the upscaling we will have an average caseload of 25 children and youths per full-time advisor.

The Family Section is a department that enjoys the time together during breaks and who likes to take any opportunity for coziness, coffee, cake and chat. The Children and Youth team consists of two groups, which have developed a shared professional approach to the tasks and a common service level. We support each other in daily operations and develop together.

• Are educated social worker or social facilitator
• Are good at expressing yourself in writing and speech
• Are prepared to engage in difficult conversations with children and parents and take responsibility to make a difference in the child's life
• Will join in and strengthen the professional community in the team and in the department
• Are interested in ongoing development of your professional knowledge

What you can expect from us

We plan an introduction that takes into account your prerequisites and needs and at the same time introduces you to the tasks and to our partners. You will work closely with your colleagues in the team, participate in the community in the department and have the opportunity to put your mark on the work for children and parents. We have external supervision attached and are committed to supporting each other in the tasks.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week and the employment starts on 01 January 2027. The workplace is Albertslund Town Hall, Nordmarks Allé 1, 2620 Albertslund, where many of our closest partners are also located. Salary placement occurs after negotiation between the municipality and the Danish Association of Social Workers. It is part of Albertslund Municipality's recruitment policy to promote diversity and equality.

It is a condition for your employment that you have a valid work and residence permit and that a child and criminal record check is obtained. Albertslund Municipality supports full-time employment in accordance with the Tripartite Agreement on Wages and Working Conditions, and the municipality therefore hires predominantly on a 37-hour basis.
