About the job

We are looking for an engaged visitation officer/case handler for our Self-Appointed Team, where you will be part of a professionally strong and specialized team. Here we work with visitation and case handling of schemes with self-appointed helpers and have close contact with both citizens, relatives and partners.

You will primarily work with case processing under the Service Act § 94 for citizens below pension age and the Elderly Act § 20 for citizens who have reached pension age.

About the job

As a visitation officer/case handler you will be an important part of the work to assess citizens' needs and possibilities for self-appointed helpers. You must be able to navigate the legislation confidently while also having a sense of the individual citizen's situation, wishes and resources.

You will have an independent role, but you are never alone. We emphasize professional sparring, collaboration and a good dialogue with both colleagues and citizens.

Your tasks will among other things be

  • Visiting and processing applications for self-appointed helpers under the Service Act § 94 and Elderly Act § 20
  • Conducting home visits and functional assessments to reveal the citizen's concrete help needs
  • Assessing the suitability of the helpers chosen by the citizen
  • Drafting decisions and ensuring precise documentation and record-keeping
  • Advising and guiding citizens and relatives about the scheme and its framework
  • Following up on and reassessing existing schemes
  • Participating in close cross-disciplinary collaboration around the citizens

We work in both Cura and Nexus, so your digital system understanding will also be an important part of everyday life.

  • Have experience with or an interest in the authority role
  • Have knowledge of the Service Act and preferably the new Elderly Act
  • Have experience with Cura and/or Nexus – or are willing to quickly learn the systems
  • Are good at communicating and creating a good dialogue with citizens and relatives
  • Can stand firm on the professional and legislative basis while meeting the citizen respectfully and properly
  • Work in a structured way and can keep an overview, even when there are many different tasks and collaboration interfaces

We offer

For us you get

  • An exciting and specialized authority task with a high degree of independence
  • Dedicated and professionally skilled colleagues
  • A cross-disciplinary work environment with the possibility of sparring
  • A thorough introduction to tasks, workflows and IT systems
  • Flex-time and working hours placed on weekdays during daytime
  • An workplace focused on professionalism, collaboration and development
