Vista House is seeking temporary workers for evening and weekend shifts

Vista House in Odense is seeking stable and engaged temporary workers for evening and weekend shifts, who want to be an important part of everyday life for our citizens. You will become part of a public workplace where care, professionalism and community go hand in hand.

Here we work with people in different life situations and age groups, and we focus on care, assistance, rehabilitation and pedagogical efforts. You will not just be “extra hands,” but part of a team that takes you seriously and supports you.

What you will be doing In this role you will support our citizens in their daily lives, so they feel safe, seen and met with respect. You will experience days with pace, and days where presence and calm are the most important. Whatever, you are never alone – there are always colleagues to consult with.

• Support citizens in personal care and daily routines in the afternoon and evening
• Create safety, presence and structure in the citizens' evening and weekend life
• Participate in pedagogical and social activities focusing on relationships and development
• Observe well-being and document in our professional systems
• Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and contribute to good handovers
• Contribute to a calm and dignified evening shift – even when the pace is high

What we are looking for We are looking for you who enjoy people and meet citizens with curiosity, respect and humor. You do not need to be fully trained to apply, but you should want to learn and be part of a workplace with high professionalism. If you already have experience from the social and health sector or the pedagogical field, that is of course a plus.

• Experience from care, nursing, pedagogy or similar area of at least 1 year
• Comfortable working independently in evening and weekend shifts, after thorough training
• Can communicate clearly and respectfully in Danish, both orally and in writing
• Have a calm and stable demeanor – even when many things are happening at once
• Meet citizens and colleagues with openness and willingness to collaborate
• Have the courage to acquaint yourself with digital systems for documentation

Workplace and working hours You will be attached to Vista House at Munkehatten 14, 5220 Odense. Here you will experience a house with both life, professionalism and room for diversity. Evening and weekend shifts are planned in dialogue with you, so we can accommodate studies, family life or other arrangements, as far as possible.

As a temporary worker you will become part of our fixed pool of temporary workers, where we continually offer shifts via our scheduling system. We especially need you for evenings and weekends, and there may also be opportunities for more shifts in the future if it suits both you and us.
