Core task

Identify and bring citizens into the right efforts that support a good and as self-sufficient life as possible through a recovery- and rehabilitation-oriented approach. You are not alone. You are well supported by skilled colleagues, a jurist, a purchasing consultant and not least a sea of good colleagues in the execution area.

VUM 2.0 is our entire foundation and we take pride in delivering good authority work within the Social Services Act §§ 82, 84, 85, 97, 98, 100, 102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 108, 109 and 110, and we practice it diligently together.

We work specialized, so don’t worry – you don’t have to be a world master in all the paragraphs, but we will certainly make you a world master in some of them, if you aren’t already.

We have been organized together with the municipality’s services in the adult social area (residential services, day services, activity centers, housing support and shared housing). We have a close and coordinated collaboration and work together, among other things, in the municipality’s open advisory service, ‘The Open Door’. Together we are focused on developing new initiatives and achieving an even closer and more holistic collaboration for the benefit of the citizens.

Who are you?

You are educated as a social worker or social facilitator. Your experience matters, but the most important for us is that you have the right attitude and talent for the work and the desire to put yourself into play. You are ambitious and have a sharp pen. Authority work requires written and good communication skills, so it should come easily to you.

Your future colleagues enjoy the social community and not least the good humor, so that is something they very much expect from you. It is a good idea to be able to juggle among diverse tasks and thrive with it. This is the condition in a smaller municipality, where we, with mutual help, must make everyday life function.

What can you expect?

We are housed in a brand-new and lovely town hall. We share the floor with the Child, Youth and Family Counseling and the Job Center for young people under 30. We experience that we have strong, valuable multidisciplinary initiatives and practice close collaboration in the municipality.

We work with professional development through competence development, joint sparring and supervision. There is a good opportunity to organize your time and tasks, including remote work and flexible working hours.

You will become part of a team where your professional curiosity and your ideas are seen as a strength in the development of the area and our team. You will become part of a smaller team with nine advisors and a department head.
