Video application
What does it mean?
Video application (videoansøgning) is a recruitment format where candidates record answers to set questions or a free presentation, submitted via portal or email.
Employers use it to assess communication, language, motivation and personality before live interviews — saving time in high-volume recruitment.
Tips: stable lighting and sound, neutral background, concise answers (1–2 minutes per question), professional dress, look at camera, rehearse but stay natural. Test upload format and deadline.
Treat it as seriously as an interview — technical quality and clarity matter. Retake if allowed until satisfied. Ensure privacy — do not share employer questions publicly.
