What does it mean?
Combining temp work (vikar) with unemployment benefits requires strict compliance with a-kasse rules. All hours and income must be reported weekly or per period — failure leads to repayment and sanctions.
Benefits are reduced proportionally when you work and earn. Some periods allow supplementary benefits (supplerende dagpenge) if hours stay below thresholds — rules change with reforms; confirm current limits with your a-kasse.
Temp assignments must not block availability for other work unless rules allow partial availability. Refusing suitable full-time work to stay on temp plus benefits can trigger quarantine.
