About us

The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Bispebjerg is part of the Psychiatric Center Copenhagen at Bispebjerg Hospital. We work according to the F-ACT model (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment), where a multidisciplinary team collaborates to offer flexible, holistic, and recovery-oriented treatment to patients with severe mental disorders.

We work with patients who often have complex psychiatric, social and somatic issues. The treatment is planned according to the patient's current needs, and we focus on creating cohesive treatment pathways with a high professional quality.

You will become part of a dedicated team consisting of nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, recovery mentors and secretaries, all contributing to shared solutions regarding the patients' treatment.

The position

As a nurse you will be involved in direct patient care and manage your own patient pathways.

You will play a central role in collaboration with the team's chief physician to ensure that patient pathways are planned and carried out efficiently.

Your tasks as a nurse

• Individual outpatient conversations.
• Outreach treatment and home visits.
• Medication management and administration.
• Primary contact for your own patients.
• Development and follow-up of treatment plans.
• Documentation in the Health Platform.
• Education and guidance of patients, relatives and students.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration around patient pathways.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry.
• Can see themselves in an outpatient role where the patient's recovery, resources and wishes are the focus.
• Thrives with a high level of responsibility and freedom in task solving.
• Has experience from psychiatry and preferably outpatient treatment.
• Has good collaboration and communication skills.
• Can work in a structured manner and remain calm, even when the day does not unfold as planned.
• Wants to join an engaged multidisciplinary team where we help each other.
• Has an interest in developing quality and patient pathways.
• Works independently while actively contributing to the collective.
• Experience with F-ACT and dual diagnosis treatment is an advantage but not a requirement.

Salary and employment terms

There are two positions.

1 permanent position as a nurse, and 1 position as a nurse in a 1-year temporary parental-leave replacement.

Both positions are in mixed shifts and are full-time, and we would like you to start as soon as possible, by agreement.

You will be employed under the non-management personnel collective agreement in the Health Cartel area - 32.17.1

The outpatient clinic is open during daytime on weekdays. Therefore, your working hours will primarily fall within this timeframe.

In addition, you will be part of on-call duties at one of our inpatient wards on Saturdays and Sundays every sixth week.
