About the job

We are seeking an administrative staff member for operations and management support, who thrives at the intersection of administration, coordination and collaboration. You will play a central role in supporting the department's division- and section leaders with a range of administrative and operations-related tasks that contribute to the leaders being able to focus on their core task.

As a result of the Health Reform, the health and care placements will transfer to regional operation on 1 January 2027. The task will be anchored at North Zealand Hospital in a new organizational unit under the Department of Elderly and Multimorbidity and includes seven geographical locations in North Zealand. In continuation of this significant development task, we are seeking an administrative staff member who can support the management level and contribute to creating coherence in the administrative processes across the organization.

The position is placed in the department's staff with reference to the departmental management and is created as a result of the department's growth and new tasks. You will become part of the department's staff and work closely with the department's other staff functions, managers and local administrative employees.

A central role in a department in development

As an administrative employee you will have a broad contact surface and a varied everyday life. You will become an important partner for the department's leaders and contribute to creating coherence between sections, locations and administrative functions.

The position is a classic management-supporting role with responsibility for both independently solving administrative tasks and supporting the local administrative employees in task execution.

Your primary workspace is in Hillerød, but the tasks are carried out across all department locations, and therefore some meeting activity outside Hillerød must be expected.

Your tasks will include

  • Support and guide local administrative staff in operations-related tasks and shared administrative workflows
  • Provide administrative support to the department's section leaders, including recruitment, salary agreements and other HR-related processes
  • Plan, coordinate and support leadership meetings, workshops and theme days
  • Contribute to onboarding and introduction of new leaders and staff
  • Prepare information materials, newsletters and internal communication
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and follow-up of common administrative workflows and processes
  • Create and maintain relevant system access and administrative registrations
  • Handle ad hoc tasks related to the department's operations, development and management support

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience with administrative support for leaders, preferably from a public or politically governed organization
  • Has insight into personnel administrative processes, including preferably experience with recruitment, pay conditions and collective agreement matters
  • Can work independently, prioritize own tasks and at the same time function as a sparring partner for both leaders and administrative colleagues
  • Is a strong communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Has good collaboration skills and thrives with a broad contact surface and many collaborative relationships
  • Is service-minded, initiative-taking and solution-oriented
  • Has good IT skills and easily adapts to new systems
  • Has experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Has an administrative education, for example a Professional Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or another relevant educational background

We offer

  • A central staff function close to the department's leaders
  • A key role in establishing the administrative framework around the upcoming health and care placements
  • A position with the opportunity to influence tasks, workflows and collaboration interfaces
  • An exciting working environment in a department with large development ambitions
  • Opportunity to play an important role in the implementation of the Health Reform
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development
  • An workplace focused on collaboration, quality and integrity
