Æblehaven is seeking a professionally skilled educator for a specialized residential care facility

Would you like to help make a difference for adult citizens with complex support needs?

Æblehaven is a specialized residential facility for adult blind or deaf-blind citizens with additional complex functional impairments. The citizens may include mental and physical impairments, dementia symptoms, anxiety and other health-related concerns. Several of the residents are nonverbal or have very limited verbal language, which requires your ability to read, understand and support alternative forms of communication, as well as create safe and predictable frameworks.

The position is 37 hours, with weekend work every 2nd or 3rd weekend. By agreement, fewer hours can be offered. We strive to accommodate special wishes or needs if it is compatible with Æblehaven's operations.

Your duties will include, among other things

• Support for structure, well-being and daily activities
• Personal care and support
• Compensatory measures regarding self-care
• Support for residents' independence and quality of life
• Documentation in Nexus and multidisciplinary collaboration

Diverse information

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in accordance with the collective agreement 34.06.1 32.03.1 32.38.1 . In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
