A bit about us

We are a young and energetic department that has existed for eight years – the only one of its kind in Denmark. Pediatric anesthesias are performed both in our own operating theatre and around the hospital here including the trauma bay, radiology, various examinations and operations on other operating theatres.

Our primary focus is on children and obstetric patients, and we are proud to be the unified operating department for children at AUH.

Our staff group is diverse and spans various levels of experience and seniority, which enables us to learn from each other and develop both professionally and personally. We work closely together and place great emphasis on well-being, job satisfaction and a strong work environment. Our teams also work closely with Preparation and Recovery, which we share both coffee room and meetings with, giving us the opportunity to create a common foundation for working with the patients.
