As an on-call substitute you help us during illness and holidays, or when we need extra resources in the department.

We are seeking hourly paid staff for employment for day, evening and night shifts.

You choose which days you can work yourself - there is great flexibility. In return we expect you to be able to take shifts and to be reliable.

psychiatric department Middelfart has overall responsibility for forensic psychiatry in the Region of Southern Denmark. The 24-hour capacity for forensic psychiatry is 84 beds distributed across 4 acute wards, 1 ward for detainees, 1 rehabilitation ward - as well as a well-functioning forensic psychiatric district function. In addition, the department has a general psychiatric ward with 18 inpatient beds and a well-functioning local psychiatry.

In each acute ward there is an integrated closed and open function with space for 14 patients, all of whom have a legal measure or are awaiting the same. This can include treatment orders, detention orders or other. The target group is patients for assessment of mental illness or patients for treatment of known mental illness.

Salary and terms of employment for the position follow either the Collective Agreement for the Social- and Health Care Personnel area 32.03.1 or for nurses the Collective Agreement for the Health Cartel, no. 32.17.1. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications. The department hires only employees with a satisfactory criminal record. We ensure to obtain an official criminal record check (data retrieval 10 years back) with the consent of the person to be employed.
