About the job

Now perhaps it is you we are seeking as a quality employee in the Citizens' Fixed Team in Vadum with workplace in Nørresundby

We are looking for an engaged and professionally strong quality employee for an exciting 37-hour-per-week position with start as soon as possible.

The position is 37 hours per week, where you have the quality function 2 days per week . The remaining hours you join the daily operations in the Citizens' Fixed Team, with weekend duty every 2nd weekend.

You get a special opportunity to combine citizen-centered work with a function where you help strengthen quality, develop professionalism and support good working practices in everyday life.

Who are we?

In Aalborg Municipality we believe that the best citizen pathways are created through cross-disciplinary collaboration, high professionalism and good relationships.

We work from the concept Borgerens Faste Team , where home care and nursing work closely together in smaller, multi-disciplinary teams. Our common goal is that citizens experience safety, trust, coherence and continuity in the help we provide.

In the Vadum district you will become part of an engaged team where collaboration, professional sparring and development are highly valued. We believe that quality is created in collaboration and that it requires both curiosity, commitment and a desire to make a difference.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As a quality employee you will play a central role in supporting and developing the professional quality in the district. You will become an important sparring partner for both colleagues and management, and you will help translate professional knowledge and quality goals into concrete improvements in daily life.

You will be part of a quality team that consists of a nurse and a social- and health assistant. Each has 2 days per week for the quality function.

You will have close collaboration with the management team to identify, prioritize and initiate relevant quality interventions in the district.

You are not alone with the task. We prioritize onboarding and professional development in the function, and you will have the opportunity to participate in ERFA meetings and relevant training.

You thereby gain the opportunity to continuously develop your competencies within quality work, improvement methods and practice-oriented learning.

We place emphasis on the fact that quality is not only about guidelines and procedures, but about creating good professional solutions that work in practice and make a difference for the citizens.

The position requires that you have good knowledge of our documentation system Cura.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • Collect and apply data from practice to identify areas where we can strengthen quality.
  • Plan, initiate and follow up on concrete quality and improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate professional meeting forums such as triage meetings, citizen conferences and nursing conferences.
  • Create motivation and support colleagues' reflection, learning and professional development.
  • Conduct sparring visits with citizens and support learning close to daily practice.
  • Contribute to introduction and professional onboarding of new colleagues.
  • Work purposefully with quality and patient safety.
  • Support a learning and improvement-oriented approach to untoward incidents (UTH).
  • Conduct evaluations and audits to monitor the quality and impact of our interventions.

Collaboration with relevant internal and external partners, including key functions, on quality development.
