As a student in Nyborg Municipality you will experience close collaboration with the practice supervisor, education coordinator, daily manager and colleagues, who all actively participate in your education, together with you.

You will become part of a cross-disciplinary team where rehabilitation, health promotion and prevention are worked on.

Start of the education

Start is individual depending on whether you are assessed to have your education shortened.

As a social and health care assistant student in Nyborg Municipality you can choose whether you want to attend the Social and Health School in Odense or Svendborg.

Finances during the education

Wage and employment conditions in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Ordinary wage 15,740 DKK/month.

You can apply to become an adult student

If you are 25 years or older, you have the opportunity to receive adult student wages if you have one year of relevant work experience with tasks within care and nursing for adults with at least 24 hours per week on average within the last 4 years.

Alternatively, if you are over 25, have worked 30-37 hours weekly for at least 4 months in Health and Elderly in Nyborg Municipality and have a positive reference form from the manager, you can receive adult student wages during the education.

The application form for adult student wages can be downloaded from www.nyborg.dk . The form is uploaded together with documentation of relevant work experience, e.g., employment letter or payslips.

Adult student wage as of 1 April 2026 is 25,376 DKK/month.

If you are unemployed, you can via the Job Center explore the possibility of obtaining adult apprentice wages.

Adult apprentice wage is 25,376 DKK/month.
