About the job

We are looking for someone who can create professional development through sparring, feedback and clear leadership.

You may already know Denmark's Prisons from the inside and have experience from our field, or you may bring experience from a municipality, region, agency or another organization with a focus on authority work, social-professional interventions or complex regulatory frameworks.

The most important thing is that you want to lead a strong professional environment, set direction for the staff and ensure high quality in the execution of tasks.

Your most important task

As a unit head you shall set the direction for professional quality, support employees' development and contribute to translating legislation, professional methods and organizational goals into good practice in everyday life.

You will lead engaged and professionally strong staff, and you will play a central role in ensuring quality in the department's tasks and decisions.

About Fodlænken Copenhagen

At Fodlænken we work with electronic monitoring as a form of sentencing. Here, employees contribute to people serving their sentence in their own home under fixed rules and supervision.

The work requires high professional quality, safe operation and a strong focus on both people and rules.

As a unit head you will be part of the daily management and have an important role in supporting staff and ensuring an efficient and consistent task execution.

Your tasks

As a unit head you will, among other things

  • Translate legislation, guidelines and professional methods into practice
  • Contribute to consistency and quality in case processing and decisions.
  • Create direction and coherence in everyday life
  • Support a good working environment and high well-being
  • Collaborate closely with the head of unit, colleagues in leadership and external partners.

Who are you?

You are curious about professional development and motivated to achieve results through others.

You have experience with authority work or the desire and ability to quickly understand a legal and rule-based area.

In addition, we imagine that you

  • Have experience with leadership or professional coordination
  • Thrive on giving feedback and challenging professional perspectives
  • Can translate complex rules and requirements into understandable practice
  • Communicate clearly and build trust
  • Have a view of both quality, people and results
  • Work in a structured way and follow up on agreements and goals.

We are less concerned about where you come from, and more concerned about what you can contribute with.

Why choose us

At Denmark's Prisons you will have the opportunity to

  • Lead an important professional area

  • Receive sparring and opportunities for your own leadership development
  • Become part of a strong leadership community.
