Area Director, Digital Development for Business

Responsible for the development of the business's future digital corporate offering

As Area Director for Digital Development Corporate, you stand at the crossroads of business, technology and leadership. You translate strategy into concrete priorities, create coherence across the organisation and ensure development that creates value for customers, employees and the business.

We are looking for an experienced leader with solid business understanding, technological insight and the ability to deliver results through the organisation.

About the role

As Area Director for Corporate Development, you will have the overall responsibility for the bank's corporate development agenda.

You must ensure that development efforts support the strategic goals, create strong customer experiences and exploit technological opportunities to improve the bank's competitiveness.

In close collaboration with the corporate business, IT, Bankdata and other key stakeholders you set direction, prioritise the development portfolio and create shared ownership of the most important initiatives.

Your key areas of responsibility will be

• translate the bank's strategy into a clear development direction for the corporate area
• create alignment between customer needs, business goals and technological possibilities
• prioritise and drive a complex development portfolio
• ensure close interaction between business, development and IT
• develop leaders and the organisation's capacity, and achieve results through others
• be responsible for the collaboration with Bankdata and other strategic suppliers
• contribute to the bank's cross-cutting development

The position is located in Silkeborg, and travel activity is to be expected in connection with collaboration across the organisation and with external partners.

Your profile

You are a strategic and experienced leader who combines business insight, technology understanding and leadership in a complex organisation.

You have experience in leading leaders and creating results through strong leadership communities. You build relationships, align stakeholders around common goals and translate complex issues into clear decisions.

We envision that you

• have at least five years of experience in leading leaders
• have solid experience with corporate business and a deep understanding of corporate customers' needs
• have insight into financing, credit, risk and customer relations
• have experience with strategic development and major change agendas
• have solid understanding of technology, AI and digital opportunities and can translate them into value for customers and the business
• have experience with strategic supplier management
• communicate clearly and build followership at all levels
• have a relevant master's degree or equivalent academic background

About Corporate Development

Corporate Development consists of 55 employees spread across four departments: CRM, Digital CFO, Corporate Development Daily and Corporate Credit Processes. Three departments are located in Silkeborg and one department, CRM, is located in The Glass Cube in Copenhagen.

The area is well established with high professionalism, good collaboration and an open culture. We share knowledge, challenge one another constructively and work closely with the corporate business, IT and Bankdata on solutions that create value for customers and advisors.
