Area West, Fourfeldt Børnehus seeks educator for the kindergarten

Fourfeldt Børnehus is seeking an educator for 37 hours with start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.

We are looking for an educator who meets children with curiosity and positive expectations. You take co-responsibility for the group of children’s well-being, development and learning, and you can take leadership of the group by creating clear frameworks, inspiring learning environments and strong communities where all children feel that they belong.

Who are we?

At Fourfeldt Børnehus there is room to breathe, presence and play throughout the day. We are based in modern premises surrounded by nature and green areas, which we actively use in daily life. Here we see the playground and local surroundings as valuable learning spaces.

Fourfeldt Børnehus can accommodate 140 kindergarten children and 48 preschool children.

We are seeking an educator who

• Works from a resource-oriented view of children and meets children with positive expectations
• Is present, engaged and curious in interaction with the children
• Can create safe relationships and inspiring play- and learning-environments
• Is conscious of their positioning and can organise the day based on the children’s needs
• Has an eye for the importance of play and dares to be an active participant in play
• Is professionally reflective and actively contributes to the development of practice
• Thrives in strong teamwork, takes co-responsibility for the team’s common tasks and development and contributes to a positive and professional working environment

Salary and employment terms are fixed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local wage formation. In addition, after a concrete assessment, qualification- and/or position supplements can be agreed depending on the contents of the position and your experience and qualifications.
