We are looking for a proactive and clear assistant leader who can help ensure the necessary development while also maintaining efficient operations and a strong culture where both residents and staff thrive. You will be a central part of a leadership team at Ådalscentret, consisting of two assistant leaders and an eldercare manager, all of whom are passionate about creating the best conditions for elderly care, particularly in the dementia and specialist area.
Ådalscentret has 50 dementia and special housing units and is located in scenic surroundings in Støvring Ådale. The building is divided into five departments with 10 residents in each department. We also have a licensed day center in the building, where home-dwelling residents with dementia come. In addition, we have a close collaboration with volunteers and relatives who contribute with events and initiatives for our residents.
Ådalscentret is a place with life and vitality, but also a place with high professional quality, where we strive to give our residents and citizens the best possible care within dementia care.
We offer a leadership position in a municipality with clear values and good opportunities to make a difference. You will, together with your leadership team, share responsibility for a strong workforce and become part of a trusting leadership community with focus on wellbeing and joint development.
Your primary tasks will include

- Quality and professional development: You will contribute to ensuring high professional standards, implement new initiatives and support employees' competence development, as well as guidance and supervision of our trainees.
- Financial management: You will assist in budgeting and ensure responsible financial operation in collaboration with the eldercare manager.
- Promoting a good working environment: You will actively work for a healthy and inspiring working environment, where dialogue and collaboration are in the foreground as well as sparring and supervision in complex resident journeys.
- Relationships and collaboration: You will focus on good relationships and close collaboration with relatives, volunteers and other partners.
Who are you?

As a leader you are clear and approachable. You possess good communication skills and can motivate and engage your staff. You work in a structured manner, are decisive and able to maintain an overview, even in a busy everyday life. It is important to us that you are a team player who contributes positively to the management team and the organization. In return you will get a workplace with a focus on the core task and where dialogue and collaboration are essential.
In addition we can offer
- A broad area of responsibility with opportunities for development, both personally and professionally through relevant education.
- You will become part of the leadership group in Center Care and Welfare, where we set the direction for the center together, and where there is good collaboration and an informal environment.
- At Ådalscentret you will become part of a workplace that prioritizes professionalism, community and wellbeing.
