We are looking for an assistant manager for Plejecenter Rosengården in Sæby

A leadership role with meaning and responsibility

As assistant manager you will be a close partner for the care center manager and a visible part of everyday life. You will have independent areas of responsibility and a central role in daily operation, staff management and professional development.

The elder care field is in transition with the new Elderly Act and health reform. You must therefore be able to translate new requirements and decisions into meaningful solutions in practice – in close collaboration with staff and management.

Your main tasks

• Exercise clear, appreciative and presence-oriented leadership of staff.
• Strengthen professionalism, quality and patient safety.
• Promote well-being, collaboration and a good working environment.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees.
• Develop employees' competencies and follow up on trainees' progress.
• Translate new requirements and organizational decisions into practice.
• Follow up on quality, workflows and agreements.
• Carry out relevant managerial tasks in the manager's absence.

About Plejecenter Rosengården

Rosengården is centrally located in Sæby and has 64 housing units spread across five departments, including somatic care, respite care and specialized dementia units.

You will become part of a house with about 80 employees across professional groups. We work with person-centered care, where residents' life stories, wishes and needs are the starting point. We prioritize safety, dignity, professional development and a trusting collaboration with relatives and other partners.

• Have a relevant health care education, preferably as a nurse.
• Have leadership experience and preferably a leadership education.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully and can inspire followers.
• Can make decisions, handle conflicts and priorities in a busy everyday life.
• Are motivated by interdisciplinary collaboration and development.
• Are prepared to start a relevant leadership education if you do not already have one.

You do not need to know everything from day one. The most important is that you want to take responsibility, develop yourself and achieve results together with others.
