Assistant team leader sought for the Welcome House in forensic psychiatry at the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans

Then the position as assistant team leader in Velkomsthuset might be for you. You will be a central part of the management of Velkomsthuset and, together with the team leader, share responsibility for daily operations, the staff and the development of the area.

Description of Velkomsthuset

Velkomsthuset is located in the forensic-psychiatric building Udsigten at the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans and functions as an access and service function for patients, relatives, collaboration partners and other visitors.

Velkomsthuset's staff perform security tasks, screenings and access control. Velkomsthuset is organizationally anchored in the Psychiatry's Vikarcenter and there is close collaboration with the clinical wards, as well as a number of internal and external partners.

Your role as assistant team leader in Velkomsthuset

As assistant team leader you will be the team leader's closest sparring partner and share responsibility for the daily leadership and coordination of Velkomsthuset's staff. You will work with leadership tasks, administrative tasks and, when needed, actively participate in the daily operations.

Your tasks will include

• participation in the management and coordination of the staff in Velkomsthuset
• handling of sickness absence in collaboration with the team leader
• professional sparring for the staff and managerial sparring for the team leader
• participation in recruitment, introduction and training of new staff
• contributing to ensuring that applicable guidelines, instructions, laws and patient rights are complied with
• carrying out administrative tasks and ensuring good communication between Velkomsthuset, Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans and the Psychiatry's Vikarcenter

The position also involves that you, together with the team leader, share the managerial responsibility on weekends, holiday periods and public holidays.

Your competences and experience

It is an advantage if you have managerial experience that enables you to set frameworks and direction in personnel management, and it would be especially beneficial if you have:

• flair for security and knowledge of screening people
• experience from the security industry or knowledge of the health sector and psychiatric patients
• good IT skills (we use the Office package, the Health Platform and Optima)
• focus on good service and patient rights
• being listening, inclusive and contributing to a positive working environment, and communicating clearly and professionally with both staff and partners

Salary and employment terms

You are employed in a full-time position of 37 hours per week. Start as soon as possible or by agreement.

In connection with the appointment we ask you to present a criminal record.

You are employed under the collective agreement for administration and IT staff, etc., with salary placement as a specialist. You are during employment covered by the applicable working-time rules agreed between the Regions' Payroll and Tariff Board and HK Municipal.
