We are now seeking a passionate and visionary Bar Manager who will take ownership of our cocktail bar and help develop it into something truly special. A professionally strong profile who is passionate about cocktails, hospitality and leadership, and who can create direction, engagement and high quality in the bar.

THE ROLE

As Bar Manager you will have overall responsibility for the cocktail bar's daily operations, development and staff. You will be the technical driving force behind the bar and will play a central role in setting the standard for both quality, creativity and guest experiences.

You will work in close collaboration with the Restaurant Manager and will be a key part of the restaurant's overall management team. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will have independent responsibility for the cocktail bar and its staff.

Your areas of responsibility include

• Overall responsibility for the cocktail bar's daily operations and performance
• Leadership, development and motivation of the bar staff
• Recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
• Development and ongoing renewal of the cocktail menu with focus on creativity, quality and seasonal ingredients
• Ensuring high professional standards within cocktails, presentation and hospitality
• Responsibility for the bar's purchasing, stock management, consumption of goods and cost optimization
• Development of new cocktail concepts and creative drink experiences
• Ensuring structure, working routines and efficient workflows behind the bar
• Close collaboration with the kitchen and the Restaurant Manager on wine and cocktail pairings as well as the restaurant's overall guest experience
• Active participation in daily operations, where you lead by example and show the way for your team

You are both a creative cocktail expert and a strong leader. You manage to combine a passion for craftsmanship with structure, financial understanding and the ability to develop people.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Has a minimum of 3 years' experience from the cocktail or restaurant industry
• Has solid experience with cocktail craftsmanship and a natural interest in new techniques, flavors and trends
• Would preferably have experience in a similar role as Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or Lead Bartender
• Has experience with personnel management or a natural talent for motivating and developing others
• Has understanding of economics, goods consumption, stock management and purchasing
• Is passionate about hospitality and creating extraordinary guest experiences
• Works in a structured way and naturally takes responsibility for both quality and operations
• Is creative, proactive and not afraid to challenge the status quo
• Is a team player with positive energy and a professional approach to collaboration
