Maternity-leave substitute as teacher in FVU-IT at Thy-Mors HF & VUC

Thy-Mors HF & VUC is seeking an engaged and relationship-building teacher for a maternity leave replacement within FVU-IT in the period 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 .

The school actively works with enterprise-oriented teaching and has increasing activity within the FVU area.

About the position

Your primary tasks will be teaching FVU-IT at our departments in Thy and on Mors and possibly at companies. The teaching will be targeted at adult learners with very different backgrounds and experiences. We have a number of senior IT classes, which will constitute a relatively large part of the workload.

• Support learners' digital literacy and competence development.

• Work independently and in a facilitative teaching role, as most classes have ongoing enrolment.

• The position is full-time

We expect that you

• Have a relevant professional background and a desire to teach IT. You could, for example, be a teacher with an interest in IT, have an IT-related education or have built relevant competencies through practical experience.
• Have experience with or an interest in teaching adults.
• Have strong IT skills and be able to convey digital skills in an engaging and accessible way.
• Be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a daily life with many different learner groups.
• Have strong relationship-building skills and be able to create safe learning environments.
• Have a driving license, as teaching may take place at several locations and at companies.

Terms of employment

The position is a maternity leave replacement for the period 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 . There may also be an opportunity to start earlier with teaching on one or two classes.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Uddannelsesforbundet and the Ministry of Finance.
