We are looking for a customer-service oriented kitchen assistant for a 30-hour per week temporary sickness replacement . You preferably have at least 3 years of experience with canteen operations, are used to getting things done and know what it takes to make a busy canteen day run smoothly.

In the canteen at Haderslev Cathedral School you help give students and staff a good break in everyday life. Here it is not only about getting the food on the table, but also about creating a cozy and welcoming experience for those who visit the canteen.

You will become part of the daily operation, where tasks span broadly. One moment you are preparing food, and the next you stand at the till and greet guests with a smile. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, and you know that the small details make a big difference.

Your tasks will include

• Prepare and ready tasty food for the canteen's guests
• Operate the till and give guests good and friendly service
• Present, restock and ensure the canteen always looks inviting
• Help with washing up, cleaning and the practical tasks in the kitchen
• Contribute to the smooth daily canteen operations

You know the canteen everyday life – and you have a smile on your lips

You do not need to be a trained chef or caterer. The most important is that you have experience from a canteen, enjoy working with food and thrive with both the practical tasks and contact with guests.

We would like you to have at least 3 years of canteen operation experience and therefore quickly settle into a daily life that can be fast-paced at times.
