Dalgashus is seeking two social educators or SSAs

Dalgashus is part of the Center for Adult Support and Mastery. We work purposefully to enable more citizens with mental health challenges to live an independent life in their own home. Therefore we are seeking two social educators or SSAs for full-time positions in a team that provides flexible support in accordance with SEL. §85, whenever and wherever the citizens need it. We believe that people develop best in their own surroundings.

What will you be doing?

No two days are the same.

You meet citizens where they are in life, and support them in creating the changes that give meaning to them. It can be support for structure in daily life, social relations, contact with work or education, handling of mental health challenges or development of skills that make it possible to live in their own home. You will become an important partner for citizens with mental health challenges, where you through relationships, professionalism and flexible support support people in creating a life with the greatest possible self-determination.

About you

• are educated as a social educator or SSA
• have experience with or an interest in the psychiatry field
• can work independently while also being an active part of a strong collegial community
• are curious, relationship‑oriented and see opportunities rather than limitations
• thrive with a flexible workday and can stay calm when things change
• can document and use digital tools

Practical

The positions are 37 hours per week with starting 1 January 2027

Working hours include day, evening and weekend shifts, because citizens' needs do not stop at 16:00. In return you get a role where you can make a real difference when the need is greatest.
