About the job

Will you take responsibility for tenders that help shape the railways of the future?

As one of Denmark's largest developers, we implement every year a number of construction and renewal projects, where professional tenders are a crucial prerequisite for project success.

We are seeking a tender consultant who thrives in a cross-disciplinary role and wants to develop tender strategies, set the direction for the tender processes and create the best framework for our procurement. If this sounds like you, read on.

Cross-disciplinary collaboration with responsibility for tenders

As a tender consultant you will be responsible for your own projects and follow them all the way from needs clarification to contract award together with relevant colleagues. You plan and carry out the tender process for procurement of advisory services and construction works and help ensure that projects get off to a good start.

Your main tasks will be to

  • develop tender strategies for advisor and contract tendering
  • plan and conduct market dialogues
  • organize and conduct tender processes from needs to contract award
  • advise the project organization on tender and contractual matters
  • coordinate the tender process in close collaboration with lawyers, project managers and technical specialists
  • ensure tenders are conducted in accordance with applicable rules

It is a plus if you can navigate a project environment and create coherence between contractual and legal requirements as well as technical, practical and economic considerations.

You combine solid experience in procurement and tenders with good collaboration skills

We imagine you have a relevant academic background and solid experience with procurement and tenders. You have experience with complex contract and consultant tenders and thrive at the intersection between contracts, technology and project economics. Knowledge of larger construction projects, the Utilities Directive and AB 18 and ABR 18 is an advantage.

You work in a structured way and take responsibility for progress in your tasks. At the same time you thrive in collaboration with others and are good at creating a common direction across disciplines and interests.

Your new workplace and colleagues

You will become part of a developing section where tenders are not just a process, but a key lever in the development of Denmark's railways.

We work with complex and societally critical construction projects, where the quality of tenders directly affects how the projects are realized. You will therefore play a central role in both shaping the solutions and developing the way we work with tenders and procurement.

The section is divided into tender consultants who work with strategy, tenders and contracts from start to finish, and Interface Managers who create coherence and momentum across projects, disciplines and stakeholders.

Together we handle complex projects from the moment needs arise until the contract is in place and the work can proceed.

We place emphasis on professional sparring, trust and a good collegial community where we share knowledge and help each other achieve goals.

We offer a flexible workplace with focus on balance between work and leisure, as well as good facilities such as canteen, cafe area and fitness. The workplace is centrally located with good options for public transport, as well as parking for bikes and cars.

Salary and terms of employment

You are employed under the current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic associations for academics in the state.

You are placed based on academic seniority and experience as a senior consultant or chief consultant per the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating allowances. There will be an employer-funded pension scheme of 18.07%.
