About the job

Do you want to help set the legal direction for IT Contract Management in one of the country’s largest public IT organizations? Do you have strong legal competencies, strategic understanding, and the ability to translate complex law into solutions that create value? Then it might be you we’re seeking for Digitalisation and IT in the Central Region of Denmark.

We are looking for an experienced contract lawyer who will take professional responsibility for the contract-law advisory within our IT Contract Management area. You will become a central legal sparring partner for IT leadership and play a key role in developing our shared legal practices and Contract Lifecycle Management in close collaboration with management and your colleagues.

Professional responsibility with a strategic perspective

You will receive a clear professional mandate to set the legal direction, develop standards and ensure high quality and consistency in the team’s advisory work - the role has no personnel responsibility and the team’s direction is set in close cooperation with the area leader.

It requires an eye for the coherence between law, IT, economy, the organization’s workflows and strategy, when you must handle complex and principled issues and translate independent legal assessments into clear recommendations and decision proposals.

You will also help develop our Contract Lifecycle Management so that we work systematically and proactively with the contracts throughout their life cycle.

An important part of the role is also to navigate legislation that does not always follow technological development. Here you must ensure a solid legal basis for the organization’s digitalization and use of new IT solutions.

Your own tasks – and the team’s

You will work with contracts in areas such as software, hardware, licenses, cloud solutions and consultancy services.

Your central tasks will include, among others

  • Set the legal direction and ensure high quality, common standards and uniform contract-legal advisory.
  • Advise IT leadership and the organization on complex contract relationships, prepare legal notes and present decision proposals.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and handle contractual questions about changes, risks and disputes.
  • Develop our IT Contract Management , including methods and processes for contract management through the entire contract life cycle.
  • Coordinate professional task solving in the team and support knowledge sharing, sparring and common legal practices.

You must be able to handle your own complex cases and ensure that the team’s legal work supports the organization’s needs and strategic direction.

Who are you?

You hold a law degree (cand.jur.) or an equivalent relevant legal education. You have solid contract and obligation-law expertise, master legal methodology and have experience with legal advisory.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Have strong contract-law competencies and experience with complex contract relationships and negotiations.
  • Have strategic and business understanding and can translate the organization’s goals and needs into legal solutions.
  • Can prepare legal assessments and decision proposals and convey complex issues clearly to both management and specialists.
  • Have professional impact and take responsibility for the quality of your work and the shared legal direction.
  • Are service-minded, curious and solutions-oriented, and create momentum and good collaborative relationships across disciplines. You keep your professional knowledge up-to-date in a constantly evolving area.

Experience with IT contracts is a clear advantage, but not a requirement. The same applies to knowledge of IT Contract Management, SKI agreements, procurement law and relevant IT-law areas such as AI and NIS2.

What you will be part of

You will become part of a dedicated team with 3-4 other colleagues in Digitalisation and IT. We work with contracts that support a large and complex IT organization, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape both our professional direction and our way of working. There is also the possibility of professional sparring across other departments in the region.

You will have broad contact with managers, specialists and project managers across the organization. With us, high professionalism, collaboration, knowledge sharing and humor are valued.

Are you interested?

Send us your CV and a motivated application no later than 17 November 2026, in which you explain how you can contribute to strengthening our IT Contract Management. We expect to conduct the first interview on 26 November. In connection with a potential interview, you may be asked to complete a personality profile.

If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to contact area manager Morten Skjoldsøge at phone 24 94 66 04.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Flexible working life, ongoing development and good framework

You will experience that there is a focus on you as an employee and as a person. We work with ongoing performance reviews and regular 1:1 conversations with your immediate supervisor, so you always have a focus on your well-being and development. A good working life also means time for a life outside work. Therefore, the hybrid and flexible working life is important to us; you have good opportunities to arrange your own workday and you can work from home when tasks allow it.

As a new employee in our large organization, we ensure a carefully designed onboarding process, where you participate in our internal academy, where you get to know the whole organization better. We work to create the best framework so you can develop and further strengthen your skills.

The working week is 37 hours with a paid lunch break and good conditions.
