About the job
Do you dream of using your legal skills in a large IT organization? Do you want to help ensure good contract terms, well-functioning supplier collaborations and professional IT procurements? Then you have the opportunity to become part of our team as a maternity cover.
About Strategic Management and Planning
You will become part of the Strategic Management and Planning department and be employed in the Economics and Supplier Management function area, which consists of 21 dedicated employees.
In Economics and Supplier Management we work with IT contracts, procurements and supplier management. As an IT contract lawyer you will have broad contact across Regional IT and collaborate, among others, with project managers, administrators, managers, technical specialists and suppliers.
The portfolio consists of both small and large IT procurements, and the tasks range from initial advice and execution of procurements to contract formation, contract management and handling of issues in the subsequent supplier collaboration.
About the job
As an IT contract lawyer you will be responsible for a wide range of contract- and procurement-law tasks. You will work with the legal, commercial and practical handling of IT procurements and contracts.
You will experience that several cases run in parallel with different deadlines and stakeholders. Therefore it is important that you work in a structured way, can maintain an overview and follow your tasks through to completion.
In addition you will become an important sparring partner for colleagues and partners in the organization, who continuously seek legal and contractual advice.
Your tasks
- IT procurements, including selection and execution of procurement forms such as mini-competition via SKI, advertising, tendering and EU procurement
- Active contract management throughout the contract lifecycle, including quality assurance of deliveries, handling of rights and obligations as well as change requests
- Contribute to ensuring a strategic focus on IT procurements and contract management
- Legal and contractual advice to colleagues, project managers and managers in Regional IT
- Interpretation and legal assessment of contracts
- Independent handling of complex procurement- and contract-law issues
- Handling of issues and disagreements in the supplier collaboration, including dialogue and negotiation with suppliers
- Handling and coordination of access to documents, including compliance with deadlines and legal assessments
- Contribute to structure, coordination and follow-up on tasks and deadlines
- Contribute to ongoing development and streamlining of workflows, processes and tools.
You will have a role where you must both be able to dive legally and at the same time have an eye for progress, collaboration and the practical reality in which the contracts must operate.
Your profile
We would like you to have experience with contracts, procurement or purchasing from a larger organization. The most important however is that you have an interest in contract- and procurement law and want to work with IT procurements and supplier collaboration.
Ideally we imagine that you can check off several of the following points, but we are also happy to build on your existing competencies.
- You have a relevant higher education such as cand.jur, cand.merc.jur or another relevant background
- You have knowledge of public procurement and procurement law – preferably within IT procurements
- You have legal understanding and can translate complex issues into concrete and usable solutions
- You can work independently with contract- and procurement-law issues and are also good at reaching out and sparring when a task requires it
- You communicate confidently in Danish and can operate in English in connection with contracts and supplier dialogue.
Personal competencies
We place particular emphasis on being structured and good at creating an overview. You thrive with several parallel tasks and deadlines and have an eye for both the detail and the overall process. You follow up on your tasks and ensure that agreements, deadlines and loose ends are not forgotten.
In addition we envision that
- You take responsibility and drive your tasks forward independently
- You work systematically and have a sense of detail.
- You are proactive and forward-leaning in your collaboration with others
- You are good at creating structure – both in your own and in shared work processes.
- You can prioritise when several complex tasks require your attention at the same time
- You communicate clearly and can advise different professional areas and levels in the organization
- You thrive on being a professional sparring partner and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues
- You have an eye for how workflows can be made simpler and more efficient.
