Hulvej Privatskole is a charming old lady of about 200 years, and every day it frames the lives of children, young people and staff. The school runs from number 5 to 19 on Hulvej, and just as the buildings have their own character, your workdays will also be different. Here there is life in the corridors, activity in the classrooms and people who go to great lengths for one another.

There aren’t many routine days with us. Some days run exactly as planned, while others take a turn because a child needs a little extra, a class gets a good idea, or everyday life simply calls for something else. It requires flexibility, but it is also what makes the work meaningful.

The position and qualifications

The position is a full-time temporary position, running for the rest of the 2026-2027 school year with good possibilities for extension. Start as soon as possible, which is why interviews are held on an ongoing basis.

Your primary functions will be to take on the mathematics class-teacher role in 2nd grade. In addition there is mathematics in 1st grade, motor skills in the foundation year, swimming in the middle grades and physical education in the upper school.

We are looking for a new colleague who is either a trained teacher or has other relevant qualifications that enable you to teach, plan, establish broad collaboration and be a clear classroom leader. The position also requires that you have the ability to create structure and overview, but at the same time can handle the changes that come with working with children and young people.

As a person you should possess a positive outlook, contribute to a healthy working environment, relate to things with curiosity and be able to engage with new things.
