Then you may be the organist we are looking for at Rønnebæk Church.

We are looking for a committed and skilled organist who with presence, musicality and joy can help create atmospheric church services and meaningful musical experiences for the congregation.

The position is 12 hours per week and is intended to be filled by 1 January 2027.

Employment terms

Employment is with the Rønnebæk Parish Council, Kirkevej 3, Rønnebæk, 4700 Næstved.

Employment of a church musician will be covered by the Common Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and CO10 and the organizational agreement between the Ministry of City, Rural and Church Affairs and CO10 – Central Organisation of 2010 for church officials with core duties such as church clerk, church and culture worker or church musician and the accompanying protocol for church musicians.

The appointment of an organist with a degree as “Church Musician with Organ and Choir Conducting” or an organist with a PO degree is covered by the Agreement between the Ministry of City, Rural and Church Affairs and CO10 – Central Organisation of 2010.

Organists with a church music bachelor’s or master’s degree are covered by the protocol to the academic agreement on the employment of DOKS organists and permanent teachers at church music schools entered into between Academics and the Ministry of City, Rural and Church Affairs.

Current civil servant organists have the right to retain their civil servant status on immediate transfer. In that case, the position must be classified. The annual salary for a church musician is negotiated within the range of 333,748 DKK – 475,590 DKK (present-day kroner). There is a duty to be available to the position. The availability allowance amounts to 27,641 DKK annually (present-day kroner).

OK allowance of 1,082 DKK (present-day kroner).

The agreement on placement within the salary range is concluded between the parish council and the Danish Church Musicians Association before employment.

The annual salary for applicants with a church music candidate degree (DOKS) is negotiated according to the new pay AC scale. That is, a gross salary between 363,169 DKK – 442,529 DKK per year (present-day kroner).

There is a duty to be available to the position. The availability allowance amounts to annually between 46,727 DKK – 72,573 DKK (present-day kroner). Placement and availability allowances are awarded according to seniority. In addition, depending on local negotiations, qualification and function allowances may be granted.

The annual salary for applicants with a church musician degree in organ and choir direction (formerly PO organists) is negotiated according to the agreed basic pay scale. Base rate 1 is DKK 350,435 per year (present-day kroner) and base rate 2 is DKK 368,189 per year (present-day kroner). Placement is based on seniority.

There is a duty to be available to the position. The availability allowance amounts to annually 29,666 DKK (present-day kroner) for service at one church.

Salary, OK allowances and availability allowances are quorated in accordance with the position’s appointment fraction.
