About the job

Come and become a part of our lovely team. Our organ is also looking forward to its own organist and is excited to play after your ’pipe’ We are seeking a dedicated, initiative-taking organist/church musician with high professional standards, who enjoys collaboration, and who delights in enveloping churchgoers in beautiful tones and creating the right atmosphere for any occasion.

The parish offers a position of 24 hours on average per week in a medieval church in very beautiful surroundings. There is a private practice room for the position, located in our new office building from 2021.

In the same building, staff meet almost every day across professional boundaries. We help each other, exchange ideas and collaborate across disciplines. During the year we hold, among many other activities, concerts and musical events and we look forward to hearing your ideas for the church’s musical expression. There is good sound equipment in both the church and the church house.

In addition to the core task as organist you will participate in confirmation teaching and possibly baby-singing and accompany various arrangements that fall within working hours.

It is important for us

  • that you are professionally skilled with a trustworthy and welcoming demeanor.
  • that you have the desire and ambition to develop the musical life around the church together with us.
