Would you like to provide music for church life in Haderup and Feldborg?

We are seeking an organist for two lovely churches in Central Jutland – perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

In the parishes of Haderup and Feldborg, music fills an important place in church life. Now we are looking for an organist, from 1 January 2027 at 27 hours per week, who would like to become part of our community and help create musical experiences for both the congregation, guests and colleagues.

Two churches with their own history

Haderup Church is a beautiful medieval church, while Feldborg Church is newer – about 120 years old. Both churches were gently renovated a little over 10 years ago and have small organs with 4–6 stops and pedal. In addition, there is a piano in both churches.

As organist, your main task will of course be to play for services, funerals, burials and other church ceremonies. But the music also reaches beyond Sunday’s service. You will, among other things, accompany baby hymn singing, song arrangements, church academy and other activities in the parishes.

We also host concerts and music events during the year, and we look forward to hearing your ideas and thoughts on how we can together develop the churches’ musical life.

With us you will be part of a well-functioning workplace with close collaboration between the priest, the church singer, two sextons/vestry attendants and a sexton’s assistant.

The first employment interview and audition are expected to take place on 18/11 from 13:00 and on 19/11 from 15:00.

There will be mutual coverage with the organists in Grove, Simmelkær and Ilskov as part of the position.

Haderup Parish Council is the employer and there is a cooperation agreement with Feldborg Parish Council.
